The service was friendly, accommodating and quick -> 5 stars! The dumplings with potato salad are unfortunately only worth 3 stars for my taste. The potato salad was good in taste, but you expect more than just a tablespoon for € 13.80. The dumplings were okay, but not a highlight. And the sauce with the melted onions was unfortunately somewhat watered down. Definitely still room for improvement and please do not save on potato salad! ?

Very tasty Swabian cuisine, wide range of wines. Homemade dumplings and potato salad are delicious! It is a pity that the restaurant does not reach the abundance as it did in the previous owner's time. Would love to come back.

The best local kitchen in the Stuttgart.

We wanted to have a quick drink for five today at noon. We were rejected quite unfriendly, despite the completely empty restaurant. The reason was that in the evening (at that time it was 3:30 pm) the tables were occupied and it was too much effort for them to serve us ...

I'm a little disappointed with the place. It lacks the regional wines. There are many wines from the Palatinate. Hardly open wines. A bit overpriced

The dishes are traditional German ... Do not expect haute cuisine. A little expensive elsewhere I think for a German restaurant. Especially the bottle of water at 7 €, it is largely exaggerated. Unfortunately I would not recommend this restaurant. For my part I do not think I will return ...

Traditional German food. Everything is local. So if you want to experience the local cuisine you should give it a shot. The lamb ravioli was quite a large plate and very tasty. Average price for beers but a bit higher for wine or aperitive. Still 6 people with food and drinks went up to 116 euros for a good restaurant in a central location near to bars and clubs.

So and so. Service was quick but the two cappuccinos we ordered were tiny(like slightly bigger espressos) and they were luke warm.

Super fresh and delicious food! They use very good products and do everything themselves. I think you can taste the passion with which you cook. The wines are delicious and the service was competent and very friendly! I have never been disappointed. I like to keep coming back for a real Swabian, delicious meal!

Delicious German food. Cosy location in the old part of Stuttgart. Very friendly staff! I "only" had a "Schnitzel Wiener Art" but, damn delicious. The meat, perfect ? Mine looked a bit smaller than my buddy's, and when the waiter came and asked if everything would be ok, we actually just were being silly, saying mine looks smaller (didn't matter to me), then a few mins later, another waiter came, bringing us an extra Schnitzel saying "greetings from the kitchen, that's on the house". WOW, this is what I call an excellent customer service. Amazing ?. Home made Maultaschen. Big selection of wines too. Can totally recommend this place. ??

We recommend! A very wide selection of fine wine and classic, authentic Swabian cuisine. Also suitable for larger groups. Especially the professional and hospitable service is to be emphasized.

It is always a pleasure being gast of Mr. Geray. Now, he is doing a local kitchen with a nice team, and the food is good & fresh (tried 2-3 from the menu so far). Plus, I like the wine scale, cause you can either go for good and affordable wine, or go higher level.

Wonderful Swabian food, very traditional and hearty. Owners are very friendly people, atmosphere is nice. Do not miss, if you want to taste typical Stuttgart cuisine. Check english menu card and explanations!

If you only have time for one meal in Stuttgart that's the place where you need to go. It is run by a Turkish family who unlike everyone else chose to cook like the locals. It is the only place I know that cooks like my grandmother used to . Their Maultaschen (giant ravioli in broth or tomato sauce) are probably the best and their Spätzle really do taste like my grans. Amazing!

Best swabish restaurant in Stuttgart

The food here was excellent and they were so friendly to us. I had the käsespaetzel because it's a must. There will be plenty of food served to you since that's the way things go in Germany. A very great spot for lunch.

Great schwaebisch Food. The service is fast and friendly. The owner is a cook himself, originally from Bolu, Turkey. Good for groups and if you'd like to have a decent conversation without too much noise around. Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in Stuttgart and would like to taste some Swabian food.

Best place for maultaschen (swabian dumplings) in stuttgart. good service and great prices. the kutteln (cow stomach in wine) are also very tasty

Enjoyed a great evening meal here in Sept. 2015. Shortly after arriving from a very damp England a few hours before, it was marvellous to sit outside in the balmy atmosphere with a beer to hand eating a perfect Rahmschnitzel......ausgezeichnet!
